Overview   

      The Complementary Medicine Department provides treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery services by integrating conventional medicine with various types of alternative medicine such as:

• Thai Traditional Medicine

      We offer an array of treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery services performed by experienced traditional Thai medicine practitioners who can apply folk health wisdoms in treatment of patients. The services include:

      Gua sha therapy, hammer massage, and herbal compress massage, which are suitable for patients with chronic stress-induced pain and musculoskeletal disorders, individuals seeking detoxification to achieve hormonal balance, and patients with psoriasis.

      Herbal fumigation, which is suitable for patients with allergies, chronic lung diseases, and mothers seeking postpartum recovery.

      Treatment of cancer and other chronic diseases using research-supported herbal medicines.

• Chinese Traditional Medicine

      We provide treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery services based on traditional Chinese medicine, which include “acupuncture” that can effectively treat pain and certain conditions such as Office Syndrome, headache or migraine, neurological diseases, paresis, paralysis, respiratory diseases, allergies, and gastrointestinal diseases, as well as supporting weight loss and restoring hormonal balance. Treatments are provided by traditional Chinese medicine practitioners with a medical license issued by the Ministry of Public Health. Other traditional Chinese medicine services include pulse diagnosis, cupping therapy, Tui Na massage, and Chinese herbal remedies.

• Colon Cleansing

      We provide “colon cleansing” therapy, which is essentially one of the methods of detoxification that can effectively promote health while rehabilitating and treating patients with constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, and medical conditions or disorders of the digestive and excretory systems. Our colon cleansing therapy is conducted using a “colonic”, which is currently the most advanced and efficient colon cleansing equipment. Patients will be under the care of experienced medical specialists and nurses who are readily available to provide services and recommendations in accordance with the professional standards.

• Health Product and Herbs

      We offer Thai herbs, Chinese herbs, and a variety of innovative health products supported by medical research. Our herbal medicines are available in a form of tablet and raw herbs for decoction, and can be used to restore the body back into balance.
