What Is the Difference Between HDL and LDL?
HDL and LDL are cholesterol types of essential saturated fats in our blood. HDL is referred to as "good cholesterol," but LDL is called "bad fat” or “bad cholesterol."

#HDL is a high density lipoprotein fat (good cholesterol)  that aids in the movement of cholesterol and triglycerides from arteries and tissues to the liver, lowering the risk of coronary heart disease. HDL also helps to prevent oxidation, inflammation, and blood clotting.

#LDL , also known as low density lipoprotein fat, is harmful to our health. LDL's primary role is to transfer cholesterol to tissues and arteries; however, too much LDL can constrict and harden arteries, raising the risk of heart disease.
